In case you missed it, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be coming to an AT&T store near you in 2017. The next rendition of Samsung’s most rugged flagship phone to date will be returning better than ever and we’re hearing a whole slew of upgrades will be coming with it. While the Active series may not appeal to you, it’s certain that there is plenty out there who can’t wait to get their hands on the rugged version of the Galaxy S8.
We’re fully expecting to see something official out of Samsung on the launch of the S8 Active. Everything we’re hearing suggests an early summer release with June the most likely time. If this holds true, we can expect to see preorders open through AT&T about two weeks prior which will be the fastest, and best guarantee you have one up on launch day.
The price is expecting to come in around $800 for the full price, and $27/month on AT&T Next. AT&T Next is a no money down option and is an installment plan for a period of 30 months. Those who preorder the S8 Active may get it a day earlier delivered in-home just like previous years. For those who elect not to preorder, you may be waiting a couple of weeks as backorders may be imminent with an increase in consumer interest in the upcoming AT&T Samsung Galaxy S8 Active.
The Active series has never lived up to the expectations, and over the years it’s easy to see why. But this is expect to change as the S8 Active will be getting an upgrade in the specs department, and while it’ll be much more rugged than the S8 it’s won’t exactly look like it. With a bold new look which is what consumers have been asking for; the time is coming for the next installment in Samsung’s Galaxy S Active.
